With the purchase of a 5-axis computer-controlled CNC machine, we as a school consciously invest in the future of our wood training courses. Our wood department will be expanded considerably in the coming years with a range for every purpose.

A CNC machine is an ultramodern device that physically realizes digitally drawn projects using computer-controlled technology. 20 years ago, only large woodworking companies had a CNC machine. In recent years, the sector has been catching up in modernization and digitization. For example, the CNC machine is increasingly becoming standard in smaller companies and it is impossible to imagine the wood sector without it.

"Digital programming is not easy, but it does ensure a perfectly finished product. I really like that I can learn this during my wood training. " - Ismaël, student Wood Learning + Working

As a school, we strive to prepare our young people in a qualitative way for the current situation in the workplace. With this investment we want to provide our students with the necessary basic knowledge and expertise to be ready for today's timber industry. Until recently, the CNC lessons were offered through an external organization. This resulted in less flexibility in the development of the educational projects. With the machine in-house we can now work with our students on impressive modern projects within a professional infrastructure. This way they are one step ahead in the preparation for the workplace and / or further studies and a wood training at GO! Spectrumschool even more an investment in a bright future.
