What are you learning?

In basic option 2B Society and Welfare the well-being for and of people is central to society. You will become acquainted with a number of basic concepts and techniques to optimize and maintain living together, your own health and your own lifestyle in our diverse society. This within the context Hair Care, Care & Nutrition

You will be made aware and encouraged to work on a healthy lifestyle (social and emotional well-being, healthy food, sufficient physical activity, ...). You learn through simple assignments and practical exercises how you can deal creatively with those aspects of well-being and how this influences your own lifestyle.

You learn to deal with who you interact with every day contact comes and you develop basic social and communication skills in that environment. Skills such as “observing” and “interpreting behavior” are an important starting point. Dealing with diversity in our society is also an important point of attention.

When you have become acquainted with all these possibilities, you will already have a completely different picture of all professional and study opportunities in which you can use these talents.

What is a basic option?

In the 1e year you get general basic education. From the 2e year you still get a lot of basic education that is the same for everyone, but you can choose a basic option. The basic options serve as an introduction so that you can discover what you have talent and interest in. From your experiences you will then be able to choose a course of study in the 2nd degree.

For who?

This basic option is mainly aimed at students who are socially sensitive and aims to introduce them to different contexts society and well-being playing an important role.

Have you passed the 2nd year? Then you can start in the 2nd degree. The basic option 2B Society and Welfare is an ideal prior education for training Nutrition care You can also switch to a course in 2A or a course in 3TSO.

What is the Society and Welfare Course?
