What are you learning?
In basic option 2A Modern Languages and Sciences science and language are linked. This within the context Language Culture and Science Mathematics.
You will also apply the steps of scientific research to the analysis of 'language'. This ensures that the link between these domains is concrete. You compare your own (home) language as a 'system', but also on the basis of 'cultural properties' with other languages and cultures. In this way you create more insight into what connects languages and cultures.
What is a basic option?
In the 1e year you get general basic education. From the 2e year you still get a lot of basic education that is the same for everyone, but you can choose a basic option. The basic options serve as an introduction so that you can discover what you have talent and interest in. From your experiences you will then be able to choose a course of study in the 2nd degree.
For who?
Do you find it interesting to think about the language itself? Do you also like to know how things work or do you like to go into the lab to research things yourself? Then the basic option Modern Languages - Sciences is your thing!
What after?
Have you passed the 2nd year? Then you can start in the 2nd degree. The basic option 2A Modern languages - sciences is an ideal preparatory course for numerous 2nd degree courses. On GO!
