What are you learning?
In 1e degree B stream Industry get a taste of different disciplines such as mechanics, metal, electricity, wood, etc. This way you can make the right study choice for an industrial training course in the 2nd degree.
In the 1e year you get a large part of general basic education that is the same for everyone. You will also learn a bit more about technology. In the 2e year get a taste of different disciplines such as mechanics, metal, electricity, wood, etc. You will learn to file, cut, drill, fold, saw, ... You will learn to measure, mark and choose and use the right tools. You will also learn to (dis)assemble switches and fuses on simple clipboards. You will learn to draw simple electrical diagrams and understand plans. You will learn to repair simple electrical installations in a safe manner.

Do you like working with your hands? With love for your profession? Are you handy and technically inclined?
Then this direction may be something for you.
What do we expect?
Being able and willing to work with your hands is important, because you learn by doing, rather than from books. Young people who have not yet obtained their primary education certificate can obtain it if they pass the first year B stream.
What after?
Did you pass the 2nd year? Then you can start in the 2nd stage BSO. Switching to 1A is also possible. This 1st degree Industry is an ideal pre-education for the following courses: Electricity, Automechanica, Basic Mechanics Machines & Wood

From the 3 degree Internship an essential part of the training, but students also come earlier contact with the workplace and the business world itself.
Our stewards and employees have employment years of experience with guiding our students on the work floor. Within each learning domain we have an extensive network of companies where internships can be run.
There are also walking many collaborations with sectors, companies we work on project-based, such as VDAB, Agoria, Umicore, Atlas Copco, etc.
This system certainly pays. 7 on 10 employers will hire someone sooner if they have had a form of workplace learning during their training, according to UNIZO research. "Workplace learning should become self-evident in all training courses, and should be directly in line with the needs of the companies themselves," said former UNIZO CEO Karel Van Eetvelt.
If you choose Learning + Skills you follow a full-time training. You become skilled in your profession and you become acquainted with the labor market. You choose a field within Industry, STEM, Sports or Healthcare (Society & Welfare).
You get practical training by our subject expert teachers. Learning on the work floor is an important part of our full-time courses in Learning + Competences. Through internships, workplace learning and cooperation with sectors and companies you will be guided to one good place in the labor market. We also offer some of the courses indoors Duaal Learning.
If you pass one of our training courses you get it certificate of Secondary Education. Also a certificate business management is possible.
Our school domain and practice workshops offer ample practical possibilities.
