What are you learning?
De Spectrum Athletes next one full-time training in Sport (double finality) (Sports TSO). This active and physical training is not a specialization in one specific sport, but introduces you to different sports (athletics, ball sports, gymnastics, swimming…). Rhythmics, fitness training, expression and self-defense are also discussed. In addition to general subjects, you will receive specific theoretical subjects. There are trips abroad and internships in collaboration with organizations from the sports sector.
In this very active training are you actively exercising for 10 to 12 hours. The emphasis is on sports technical, but there is also attention for experiencing movement, the exercise culture of leisure, fair play, cooperation, responsibility, accepting rules, values and norms. You participate in competitions, tournaments and dance performances. You guide and organize sports days. There are trips abroad and internships such as skiing, surfing, sailing, etc.
From the 3e degree do you follow Internship (in collaboration with MOEV) where you are formed into it guiding and supporting movement activities for different target groups.
Our campus offers a lot of infrastructure. In our sports hall and outside areas you practice various sports. Next to the sports hall there is the Rivierenhof with the sports park across the street Sport oasis Great shine with athletics fields, swimming pool complex and many other possibilities.

Then this training might be something for you.
What do we expect?
You can training Sport start after each option of the second grade. What is important is a solid formation of the basic properties (strength, flexibility, endurance, speed, coordination and balance). You are motivated for different disciplines and you are also prepared to make extra efforts for disciplines where you have less talent or interest.
The ideal preliminary training is 1e degree Sport.

What after?
Training Sport belongs to the study domain Sport and and has onedouble finality. In this training is flow through to the labor market . higher education possible.
After the 3rd degree Sport you pass it certificate of Secondary Education. This course gives you a solid foundation to start higher studies within the discipline. There are numerous job opportunities; fire brigade, police, army, rescuer, teacher LO, fitness coach, nurse, .. From 1 September 2019, our school will gradually organize its courses according to the new education reform. After the first grade, the first grade of the second grade will be adjusted in the 2021-2022 school year. After 6 years, the reform will be fully implemented.

From the 3 degree Internship an essential part of the training, but also in the past the pupils are already in contact with the shop floor and the business world.
Our stewards and employees have employment years of experience with guiding our students on the work floor. Within each learning domain we have an extensive network of companies where internships can be run.
There are also walking many collaborations with sectors, companies we work on project-based, such as VDAB, Agoria, Umicore, Atlas Copco, etc.
This system certainly pays. 7 on 10 employers will hire someone sooner if they have had a form of workplace learning during their training, according to UNIZO research. "Workplace learning should become self-evident in all training courses, and should be directly in line with the needs of the companies themselves," said former UNIZO CEO Karel Van Eetvelt.
Learning + Moving on has the finality "flow through" & "double finality" (advancement & labor market). The flow finality is the former ASO. These courses are intended to enable students to successfully progress to academic and bachelor courses. The double finality is the former TSO. These courses are intended to enable students to successfully progress to bachelor and graduate courses (= HBO5 courses) and / or to the labor market.
